I’m posting composite GIFs of weekly photos from different sites around Central Kentucky over the next several months. Browse through them all to see different views of the seasonal rhythms of the Bluegrass. The first view is of Calumet Farm from Van Meter Road in Lexington.
Next up is a view of Keeneland’s Gate 5.
Next is a barn on Elkchester Road in Lexington.
The next set of images comes from a rock fence entryway to a farm on Old Frankfort Pike outside of Lexington.
Below, I’ve included some of the test images and GIFs from the in-progress Bluegrass landscape photography project.
Basically, this is an 8-week sample of the yearlong project in which I plan to trace a variety of agricultural landscapes in central Kentucky across the seasons.
The photos that follow are some of the other landscapes I’m considering for the final project.
I am in the early stages of this project, but am excited to put together a series of images that tells the story of the diverse agricultural landscape of central Kentucky over the course of a full year.
